Another day, another sunset. This time, by the banks of the Upper Lake (Bada Talaab) - a large artificial lake which lies on the Western side of Bhopal, the capital city of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Spanning 31 Km2, it is a major source of potable water to the residents of the city, serving around 40% of the residents with nearly 30 million gallons per day.

Statistics aside, its a nice place to spend the evening, with a nice sunset, boating and watersport activities and even some foodstalls etc at a designated shore. And, if you want it, there are birds to feed and sails to watch
